At the same time, we saw the growing consumption of energy and resources, the concentration of power and data within a few global technology corporations, and the risks to our attention, critical-thinking, and human agency.

We sought an AI that combines technological innovation with ecological and social responsibility, a platform that is not only powerful but also respects people, their data, and the planet. Because we could not find a platform that met these standards, we built it ourselves.

In 2025, aim2balance.ai was initiated by Bergwaldprojekt and a team of experts with limited means, but with a clear vision: to bring the benefits of AI into harmony with our social and ecological responsibilities. For sustainable progress occurs where innovation, humanity, and nature remain in balance.
